Dr. Ryan Hedgepeth, MD – Columbus, OH

Dr. Ryan Hedgepeth is the system chief of urology for OhioHealth with a clinical practice devoted to advanced robotics and urologic cancer surgery. He received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and completed residency training at the Cleveland Clinic. He then pursued fellowship training in urologic oncology and laparoscopic surgery at the University of Michigan where he also obtained a Master's degree in Clinical Research Design and Statistical Analysis from the graduate school.

After completing his post-graduate training, Dr. Hedgepeth developed the first multi-disciplinary robotic surgery program in the state of North Dakota. This success was followed by a move to Louisiana where he directed the system robotics program and the section of urologic oncology for the Ochsner Clinic. Dr. Hedgepeth became the chief of urology for OhioHealth (based in Columbus, Ohio) in 2015 and has transformed a fledgling clinical program into one of the largest and most successful departments of urology in the state of Ohio.
