Elena Rybakina who is ranked No. 23 in the world is having her best Wimbledon run ever, and she believes that one of the main reasons for her strong run at The Championships is that she arrived relaxed and without much pressure.
Her season hasn’t been easy after battling covid and other allergies this year.
Prior to Wimbledon, Rybakina lost in the round of 16 at’s-Hertogenbosch and then in her opener at Eastbourne. Rybakina came into Wimbledon with a 1-2 record on the grass, but she has now advanced to the Wimbledon quarterfinals after winning four straight sets.
Off the courts, Anna Rybakina is the elder sister of the 29-year-old tennis player of Russian-Kazakh origin. Interestingly her sister happens to be a big fan of hers and she usually comes to watch her games.
