On Christmas Eve, two teenage males were discovered shot to death in the isolated Palm Bay neighborhood known as “The Compound.”
According to police, someone in a wooded section of The Compound contacted 911 after discovering a dead corpse in a ditch. Officers discovered two bodies at about 8:30 p.m., one 14 years old and the other 16 years old.
The 14-year-old victim was identified as Jeremiah Brown by family members on Tuesday. In addition to expressing their sorrow, Brown’s family sent a statement with a warning regarding gun violence.
