Following an outstanding performance in this year’s World Athletics, the Jamaican-born athlete has recently gained popularity among those who are curious about her biological mother.

Who is Shericka Jackson mother Diana Llewellyn?

Yesterday (July 22), the 28 Jackson scorched to a decisive world title in 21.45 seconds, a time only surpassed by American Florence Griffith-Joyner in 1988. She has now become the fastest woman alive over 200 meters.

Her countrywoman Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, finished behind her in second place with a time of 21.81.

Dina Asher-Smith, the current world champion, on the other hand, finished third with a time of 22.02.

Jackson ran a phenomenal time that put her ahead of two-time Olympic sprint champion Elaine Thompson-Herah and brought her closer to Griffith-Olympic Joyner’s record of 21.34 from Seoul.

The 28-year-old happens to be the only daughter of Desmond Jackson and Diana Llewellyn. It is said that her dad divorced her mother when she was still a child. Due to their short union, Jackson never had any siblings.

Her Jamaican mother would probably be in her early 50s however, her actual birth month and day aren’t documented.
